Ingredients
- Grease
- 125 g Margarine or butter
- 125 g Sugar
- 3 Stück Eggs
- 0.5 Stück Baking powder
- 250 g Flour
- 1.5 kg Apples
- 60 g Butter
- 50 g Sugar or cinnamon sugar
Instructions
- 1. Carefully grease the bottom and sides of a springform pan (26 cm). Preheat the oven to 200 °C (top/bottom heat).
- 2. For the batter, mix the softened margarine or butter with the sugar and eggs until smooth.
- 3. Mix the flour and baking powder together and stir briefly into the mixture until no flour streaks remain.
- 4. Peel, core, and cut the apples into large pieces (e.g., eighths). Quickly fold the apple pieces into the batter.
- 5. Pour the mixture into the prepared springform pan and smooth the top.
- 6. Bake the cake on the lower rack for a total of 50 to 55 minutes.
- 7. After 45 minutes of baking, remove the cake from the oven, brush with the butter, and sprinkle with the sugar or cinnamon sugar. Then finish baking.
- 8. If the cake browns too quickly, cover it with parchment paper for the remaining time.
