Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- Oil
- 1 l Broth
- pinch Salt
- 2 cloves Garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp Marjoram
- 2 tbsp Paprika powder
- 1 kg Potatoes
- 3 pieces Burenwurst or Frankfurters
- 5 tsp Flour
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onions into small cubes and fry in a saucepan with a little oil until golden brown.
- 2. Deglaze with 1/8 l of the broth. Add salt, crushed garlic, marjoram, and paprika powder, stir well, and pour in the remaining broth.
- 3. Add the peeled potatoes cut into approx. 1.5 x 1.5 cm cubes. Simmer over minimal heat for about 18-20 minutes until they are firm to the bite.
- 4. Halve the sausages lengthwise, cut into small pieces, add to the goulash, and let simmer briefly.
- 5. If the goulash is too thin, mix the flour in a separate bowl with a little liquid from the goulash until smooth. Stir the mixture into the goulash.
- 6. Bring everything to a boil once more while stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
